HEY LADS and LASSES! I went with my roommate to the St. Patty's Day Parade here in NYC. It was fun, but a little chilly. Here are some pictures from the adventure. I've never seen so many bag pipe players in my life, nor men in skirts! This is a BIG holiday in NYC. It basically give every New Yorker an excuse to visit a Pub and drink, from sun up to sun down. It is fun being sober on this day too. The Irish Lacrose Team participated in the parade (1st picture). Also, the guys holding the sign...are the Emerald Society of the NYC Department of Sanitation. I don't really know why, but that made me laugh! It was fun and I've always loved the Irish and men in skirts, especially if they have good legs! :)
