Flashback Friday Judson Style

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Joel and Brooklyn...it just proves that she has been a Rocket girl since the beginning! (Look at those fat rolls on her arms! yummy!)
We are so proud of you buddy!
Go get 'em boys! Rocket Pride!
Win, win, win...
win or bust bust bust bust!
We are the rockets
and we want you to know
that another one bites the dust!
Win State!

Bright Family Christmas!

Last weekend we went to Stephen's Mimi and Papa's house for the annual Bright family Christmas party. It was fun as usual and good to be with family. I got some cute pictures of Clair (and her cousin Maddi - Scott and Tammy's little girl) I wanted to post. Kate ran around with Trevor the whole time and I only got one of her...making her cousin Alex laugh! He thought Kate was the funniest person!

The best part of the party...Hannah Montana shirts from Aunt Ann! Clair was SO happy!

Kate's PTA Performance

The Kindergarten performed at the December PTA meeting. Kate was SOOOO excited. Here are some pictures from the performance. They did such a good job.

Kate is top row middle in this picture.
Here is the whole group (or best picture I could get from way back)!
Kate and one of her best buddies Giana!
Kate and her teacher Mrs. Stanislaw and teacher aide Mrs. Szogas.

Poor Foot...Poor Hair

Last week was crazy.

First Bowen hurt his foot. We thought it might be broken, but after a trip to the ER and FIFTY BUCKS later, we learned it wasn't broke, just a soft tissue injury (which means a really bad, deep bruise). Still it has been over and week and still it is so swollen and bruised. However he is walking just fine on it.
Then, while I was out doing mom stuff, Stephen was watching the kids. When I got home, Stephen informed me that Clair cut her hair. This is the 2nd time! So, she got in trouble and her perfect hair is no longer perfect. But her sweet little face still is!

Cold doesn't begin to describe the place where I am at!

If you know anything about me, you know that I don't enjoy...actually I loathe cold weather. There is a reason that I live in Texas and it isn't all about cute cowboys! Well, yesterday I spent the day in New Orleans where the weather was 80 degrees. That is my kind of Decemeber weather. Imagine my shock and despair when I landed in New Mexico, walked out the airport and saw my breath. It was not a pretty moment. If I can see my breath...it is too cold for me. Today I am in Gallup and the white stuff on the ground and coming down is another huge indication that I shouldn't be here. Unfortunately I am heading from NM to NY...where it is not just cold, but humid too. That is a deadly combination in my book. Let's hope I don't freeze to death.

FlashBack Santa Saturday (I missed Friday!)

So, we went to our ward Christmas party last night. Santa was there. Clair did a lot of positive talk about sitting on Santa's lap..."I like Santa now. Santa is nice. I am going to tell him I want a pogo stick." But when crunch time came...she just couldn't do it. Poor Bowen was so tired at this point, Stephen wouldn't even try to let him sit with Santa.
So, here is Kate...past (she was 2 years old)and present!
And here is Clair (almost 2 months old) before she knew she was afraid of Santa...the good old days!

Party Part 2

Here are Clair's friends and Princess Cinderella!
Here is Cinderella giving Clair tips on how to pucker up to kiss her frog...another fun game we played! Thanks Mimi for drawing such a cute frog! Each girl got to keep her lip gloss used for the game. Thank goodness for cheap lip gloss at Wal Mart!
Here is the birthday girl playing the Princess and the Pea. We had several pillows lined up and one had a "pea" under it. They each had to guess which pillow had the pea under it! Only one little princess got it right.
Opening presents equaled LOTS of hugs and lots of fun new toys! Do you see Papa in the back holding cuz Alex!
Before cake & ice cream, Princess Cinderella (aka Aunt Jessica) sang a very
pretty song to the birthday girl! It was so special!

Princess Party

Clair had her dream Princess party and it was fun for all. We even had a special visit from a real Princess...AKA Aunt Jessica.

Before the party...Clair stands next to the Princess poster used for "Put the crown on the Princess" game!

The castle cake with a very crooked door...yes I know! Thank goodness Emily was able to help me or the whole cake would have been as sad as the door I made. Thanks Em for helping with the Kate and the party!

Here we are making princess tiaras and wands!

Who is at the door? A special guest! A real Princess!

"Put the crown on the Princess!" a fun game!

Clair is FOUR!

OK, I know these are late, but my life has been so crazy I haven't even looked at the BLOGS lately, let alone been able to post something. So, I am a little late in posting these...but here they are....

Here is the HSM game from Aunt Brit, Uncle Joel, Brooklyn, and Jack! Thanks! We rock out to this game!

Look at that face...she was so excited to get her Gabriella doll! She even sings!

Last but not least, her pink scooter! She rode this thing non-stop for DAYS and DAYS!

Daddy's boy

Joel and Jack were wrestling last night, after the Christmas devotion. It was really cute to see. Jack is such a loving kid. You can see here that he really likes Joel's nose and he wasn't even hungry.

Gingerbread House 2007

Last night Brooklyn and I decorated our gingerbread house, while we listened to the 1st Presidency's message. We had a really fun time. I think she enjoyed eating the candy more than she liked actually decorating it. Mimi helped us out for a time too. There is nothing like Gingerbread houses to get the season going.
