San Antonio Under Ice

Yesterday and today we've had terrible ice storms. Mom and I have actually worked from home. Dad braved the ice and the crazy Texas drivers and went to work...both days. Here are two pictures of our yard. The bushes and trees are completely covered in ice. The back porch isn't white with snow...it's just thick layers of ice. I've never seen so much ice in all my life.

Brooklyn at Mimi and Papa's

Brooklyn opened her Christmas presents at Mimi and Papa's and loved all her gifts. I got her Elmo TMX. I'm not really sure what she thought about it, but I know she loves Elmo. Also Brooklyn's latest thing is sleeping over at Mimi and Papa's house. She loves to eat her popcorn and drink her "My Jews" in the pink tent. She is really funny about it. Also, we've made cookies with her. Papa let her even eat the frozen dough. She actually preferred it frozen! Craziness!

My Business Trip to New York City

At the end of December, right before Christmas, I got to take a business trip to NYC. It was great to see all my old friends. I made the very most of my trip. I spent one night with Chy Ayn and family and the rest of the time in the city. It made me realize how much I miss it. I went to a Rangers Game and a Knicks Game. Both of those are things that I wanted to do when I lived there before and never had the chance to do. At the Rangers game I went with my old roommate Lindsay. She had box seats for work. It was very fancy, with tons of food. I also went to Chinatown and took in a Broadway play...Mary Poppins. (I recommend it!) I also ate pizza about every day and also hit my favorite spot The Burger Joint. My old roommate Lindsay actually got to sign the wall, when an employee thought she was Lindsay Lohan. I had a great time!

Dad's Hero

At the beginning of December I went to California for work. I flew into the John Wayne Airport. I thought it was only fitting that I get a picture of the statue of the Duke himself...in honor of our father and his trunk of John Wayne movies.
