Pay What You Want Student Loans

Hello All,
The pay what you want concept is intriguing to me. I wonder my my student loans don't apply that concept! I could really go for that idea. I wouldn't take advantage, but, I would also have them paid off...Immediately! :)
tomorrow is the Clair-Bear's Birthday Party. Everyone is supposed to bring their bears. We are going on a Bear Hunt, stick the heart on the bear, and playing bear toss with a picnic blanket. For food we will be eating bear shaped peanut butter and honey sandwiches with chips, and a veggie tray. For party favors, I made Bear coloring books and got crayons (when they were on sale before school started for only .25 for crayola crayons), also we will include in their bags, Teddy Grams, and gummy bears! I am excited. I am also making a bear cake...I will have to take pictures and post them. It will be so cute. I only wish you could all be here for it! Why do we have to live so far apart!
Go Judson! I hope they advance to the next round. Go BYU! Beat who ever you're playing...Utah or Utah St. I guess. And for the LOVE OF NANCY and for the sanity of the Bright house, GO TIGERS beat the Gamecocks!

Old Pictures from the Bronx Zoo

After living here only a couple of weeks, I went to the Bronx Zoo with ChyAyn and her little Claire. Here are a few pictures of that day. Wednesday is "Pay what you wish" day, so we each got in for a dollar. The Polar bear was the favorite and Claire really didn't appreciate the smells of the zoo, especially near the seals.

These are old pictures, but since I learned how to use this, I thought I would. These are two pictures from the night I went to see The Odd Couple. The girls with me are Stephanie, Gretchen, and Ann. They are all girls in my ward. We had fun that night!

Just a regular day in NYC!

Hey everyone!
My old roommate Marisa was in town this weekend. We went downtown. We stopped in at the "Hello Deli", which as you know is the famous David Letterman Deli. Well, what do you know Ruppert was really working there. We of course had to have our picture taken with him. We wanted to eat there, but it was closing. He was very nice and was actually just like TV. We had a blast. From there, we went over to the Harry Potter Premiere. We were a little too far from to take pictures, but we could actually make out some of the people as they walked the red carpet. It was really fun. Wish you all could have been here!

Hey everyone...set your VCRs, DVRs, or T-vos because I, Emily, am going to be on Good Morning America. The date is November 18, which is a Friday. I wrote in about a month ago for tickets and today I got an email informing me that I was given 2 tickets. My friend, Stephanie and I are going to be in the audience! There of course is no guarantee that I will be seen, but hey you never know and you would hate it if you missed me!

after you have signed in, a page should come up that will have a listing of all the BLOGS you participate in.
Next to our BLOG...Call Corner...you will see a plus sign under the heading "New Posts"...click the plus sign.
You will see the posting page with the text box.
After you have typed in your message, click the orange button on the bottom that says, "Publish Post"
If you want to add pics...look at the top of the text box, under the word "Compose" and you will see (next to the spell check), a little mini picture, click that and then follow directions from there.
FYI...my computer often freezes when I am posting pics. I don't know if that is common with this BLOG site, or if it is just because I use a high resolution on my camara and thus, my picture file sizes are large. Anyway...
Let me know if you guys have any other problem, or if you can't figure something out. I'm no expert, but maybe I can help you figure it out!

Invites...almost done!

It is after 1:00 AM...I just finished Clair's b-day invites...tommorrow I will get the envlopes done and then I will get them in the mail. I can't believe she will be two years old this week! Time really flies!

Let's try another picture...

Here is Kate and Clair at pre-school for the Halloween party. When the teacher called the kids to the circle, Kate informed her, "I will have to stand, because flower pots can't sit!" (She really couldn't sit or even climb stairs...and when she walked, she had to take small steps!) Clair sat down and was quiet and paid attention to the whole circle time. Then we went trick or treating to some other classes. All was well until Kate fell. She has a horrible 3 in. bruise across her thigh from her "wooden plastic flower pot".

Blogging from NYC!

Hey guys! I am sitting here in NYC and very tired. I got my first midterm back today. I got a great grade, which made me happy! I then got my 2nd midterm back and only got a "B". I was a little bugged, but that is life. A "B" isn't bad, but it isn't what I expected. Oh well, you know us Columbian's we are overachievers! :) (Just kidding!) Have a great day! Welcome to our new family BLOG! Emilysaw the Don Call family blog and wanted to start one for us too! So since I am just sitting her on the computer...I thought I'd set it up! So, here we go! Welcome to Call Corner!

OK, so basicly I know nothing about BLOGS and how it all works. So if you figure out something new...let the rest of us know. I will do the same. I know you can post pictures and stuff, so that will be my next venture. But for now...I will just put this post on so we can get started!

Why do we need a BLOG? Well, this is a fun way to keep up on what is going on in all of our lives. We are all over the place...like the bird flu! Use the BLOG to share news, photos, ideas, recipes, and what you are wearing for the day. (That last thought is for mom's benifit!) So, get to posting!
