Party Part 2
Here is Cinderella giving Clair tips on how to pucker up to kiss her frog...another fun game we played! Thanks Mimi for drawing such a cute frog! Each girl got to keep her lip gloss used for the game. Thank goodness for cheap lip gloss at Wal Mart!
Here is the birthday girl playing the Princess and the Pea. We had several pillows lined up and one had a "pea" under it. They each had to guess which pillow had the pea under it! Only one little princess got it right.
Opening presents equaled LOTS of hugs and lots of fun new toys! Do you see Papa in the back holding cuz Alex!
Before cake & ice cream, Princess Cinderella (aka Aunt Jessica) sang a very
Princess Party
Before the party...Clair stands next to the Princess poster used for "Put the crown on the Princess" game!
The castle cake with a very crooked door...yes I know! Thank goodness Emily was able to help me or the whole cake would have been as sad as the door I made. Thanks Em for helping with the Kate and the party!
Here we are making princess tiaras and wands!
Who is at the door? A special guest! A real Princess!
"Put the crown on the Princess!" a fun game!
Clair is FOUR!
Here is the HSM game from Aunt Brit, Uncle Joel, Brooklyn, and Jack! Thanks! We rock out to this game!
Look at that face...she was so excited to get her Gabriella doll! She even sings!
Last but not least, her pink scooter! She rode this thing non-stop for DAYS and DAYS!

Daddy's boy
Gingerbread House 2007
Last night Brooklyn and I decorated our gingerbread house, while we listened to the 1st Presidency's message. We had a really fun time. I think she enjoyed eating the candy more than she liked actually decorating it. Mimi helped us out for a time too. There is nothing like Gingerbread houses to get the season going.

Veggies in Monterey
Once again I am in Monterey, CA and it is as gorgeous as ever. They weather is fabulous and it is such a nice place. Yesterday I went driving around...I saw something that made me very sad...there were fields and fields of veggies and tons of migrant workers in the fields picking whatever it was that was growing. I think they were cabbage or lettuce fields. As I watched the people in those fields I though how thankful I am that there are people willing to do that job. I also thought how I don't know anyone who would do that job...glad there are people out their willing to do the jobs that need to get done, but aren't very glamorous!

Vacation...I think!
I spent the last week with Ros and family. It started a little rough, but we ended up having a good time. Ros picked me up at the airport last Monday. On the way home Stephen called to say that Kate was throwing-up at school. Before we could get to the school to pick Kate up, Clair threw-up in the back seat. Once we got everyone home, cleaned-up, and resting, Stephen called from upstairs to tell Ros that Bowen had woken-up, but he had also thrown-up in his crib. Needless to say, Ros got it on Tuesday and I had it on Wednesday. Luckily by the time mom and dad got there the sickness was pretty much done. I have pictures from Clair's party on Saturday, but I have to get them off my camera. These pictures were taken on my blackberry, so they aren't the best quality. Bowen is a doll...and boy does he love to eat. A boy after my own heart! Thanks Ros for letting me come and stay!

Halloween Lunch
Last Saturday Brooklyn came over to my house for a Halloween lunch. We had a great time. We had Cheesy Cresent Roll Ghosts, Cinnamon Monster Head and carmel apples, Mummy Dogs, and black cat cakes. It was lots of fun. We made a witch's mask, a pumpkin container, and then we turned my pumpkin into a bat. We had such a grand time. There was however something missing, or should I say someones missing...we wished that Kate and Clair could have been there and that Bowen could have been playing at Joel's with Jack. That would have made this day 1000 times better. Maybe next year.
