Happy Birthday Britni!

Sadly I don't have very many pictures of Britni....that's probably because she is usually behind the end of her own camera lens, when I'm taking pictures.

Happy Birthday! We are glad that you are in our family and that you put up with our brother. You are such a supportive wife, pretty much being a single parent during football season. Hope you have a nice birthday.

Hawaii trip last month

Last month I spent about 10 days in Hawaii for work. I am just now getting my pictures posted. Here are a couple of pictures of the beach. I actually got to spend a few hours on the beach.


I also spent a day working in a hotel at the beach...thus the picture of me in business clothes, at the beach.



I am also including a picture of the local LDS church in Honolulu. It is one of the prettiest churches I've ever been in. I love the outside, so I took a picture this time.

Is this really what I should be posting?

Probably not, but let's face it...1 picture is a lot easier than posting the millions from Hawaii and Disney World that I need to post.

I am in LA right now. You know that besides Disney Land, CA really is only good for 2 other things. In-N-Out Burger and most importantly...Pink Berry. I didn't make it to an In-N-Out this time. Since I do not have a car, I had to get a little creative about getting my Pink Berry. I somewhat had to con/beg a local co-worker to take me to a Pink Berry that is 5.79 miles from my hotel. Was the con/begging worth it? HECK YES!

My co-worker lives right here in LA and has never been to a Pink Berry...what is wrong with this lady? I consider this co-worker lucky that I came into her life...her eyes have been open.

Imagine my surprise when I walk in to that brightly colored piece of heaven and discover that Pink Berry now has 3 flavors...original, green tea (never tried it - never will), and pomegranate. Yes I tried the new flavor and yes I loved it. I had an original/pomegranate swirl with kiwi, pineapple, and mochi. I have died and gone to heaven. I don't know when the last time I've had a Pink Berry, but I do know when I will have it again...next week when I'm in San Jose. I've already scoped out the location in San Jose. I land Wednesday at 8 pm, so I will pick one up then and Thursday on my way out of San Jose to Monterey. Three times in 2 weeks...now that makes all this traveling worth it!

Life is a highway...

Our trip down to Florida was....

musical...I bought Bowen this little tykes MP3 player with kids songs on it. He LOVES it and calls it his MP2 player! Doesn't he look so grown up in this photo!

educational...Kate read 3 chapter books on our way down to Florida! That girl is a reading maniac!

painful...Clair fell while we were on a stretch break! She skinned both knees pretty bad and then re-injured them even worse two more times during the week!

LONG...the traffic was horrible! At one point we were at a stand still for like 25 minutes due to an accident! People were getting out of their cars and walking around on the highway! Aughhhhh!

BRIGHTS IN SPACE.....

Before we went to Disney World, we stopped to see the Kennedy Space Center.

Here is Stephen loading our kids into a space capsule...These kids have the right stuff!Bowen asked Stephen to take him for a ride in this! (Stephen wishes!)Here they are on the bus to visit the other parts of the space center...we not only saw "space" stuff, but we saw a bald eagle and it's HUGE nest (the size of a king size mattress), we also saw TONS of alligators, and I saw a dolphin fin! It was pretty cool!

We went to this observation tower and you could see everything!

We also got to touch a piece of the moon...Here are my cute kids on the international space station...well pretending to be on it!

Disney World Here we Come...

In just a day and a half we will be soaking up the sun with Mickey and Minnie in sunny Florida. There is nothing like the "Happiest Place on Earth." We are all very excited and can't wait to be together.
